Opportunities For Students

The Department of Health Promotion provides a variety of opportunities for students to receive education, training and otherwise participate in supporting the health and welfare of the Rutgers community. We welcome your interest and are excited to hear your views, concerns and ideas on how to cooperatively create a happier and healthier campus culture.  The following is a list of opportunities currently available:

1)     Training to become a student health advocate

2)     Volunteering to provide support for health advocate programs

3)     Receiving academic credit by enrolling in course work on Health Theory and Advocacy (Urban Studies #50-975-489, three credits).  Class requirements.

4)     Applying for a part time job to work for Rutgers University Health Services as a work-study student, through the Financial Aids Office.

If you are interested in any of the above, call 856-225-6005 or e-mail rrusso@camden.rutgers.edu.
